This was my first time to buy and use a sand filter so there were many questions about which was the right one to purchase. After several hours of browsing on the web, I came to the conclusion that this was the best filter for my application which is a 15' x 48" intex easy set pool. This kit comes with ALL THE FITTINGS you will need to get it up and running. You do not have to buy the 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 adapters. After about 12 hrs of running, my pool water was very clear.
