This is a preliminary report as we've had the clippers about a week. Having bought other clippers in years past only to have them perform adequately at best, when we found yet another dead battery at season start, we opted for the best we could find. So far, the Gardena unit pleases us.German engineering has a good reputation; this unit upholds it. The blades are sharp and do well even in clumpy grasses. We looked for the "spare" battery when we opened the package and didn't find one. Apparently the number of batteries you order (via the different model numbers) are built in, thus yielding the different operating times in the specifications. So, guess how long you would be "clipping" ...
